Ice hockey

Hockey is the favorite sport of the Canadians. It has been an Olympic sport since 1920. It's a sport which takes place on the ice with two teams, it is very dangerous.
The necessary equipment for the goal keepers are:There is a mask,a plastron,a shield, skates, mitts , a butt and boots.

The necessary equipment for the player are:There is a helmet, plastron, elbow pad, glove, warmers,skates and a « butt ».

The objective is to score goals by sending a disk of vulcanized rubber, called slice or puck, in the opposite net, placed at the other end of the ice rink. The team consists in six players, among whom is a goalkeeper. The hockey is native from Canada and developed at the end of the XIXth century in North America .The ice hockey takes place on an ice rink. The players manipulate the disk by means of a hockey stick .

Five field players are generally three attackers (a central player, a left winger and a right winger) and two defenders. The group of three attackers forms an advance guard and a pair of defenders form a line of defence. There are also specific lines in the situations of digital inferiority or numeric superiority

The changes of line can intervene during the time break, but also during the game We speak then about a flying change.
A hockey team counts about twenty players (four attackers' lines, four to six defenders and two goalkeepers).
Certain responsibilities)and certain contacts are authorized on the carrier of the disk. It is a question, above all, of hampering the opponent, of destabilizing him during next contacts, of tiring him and of making him lose the disk. It is a basic technique in hockey. We speak then about « putting in check ». However, the dangerous or opposite actions in rules, are sanctioned by penalties or punishments. The player then has to go out of the game for a certain duration, without being replaced.
