Taio Cruz, whose real name is Jacob Taio, is an English singer-composer. He was born on the 23^rd of April 1983. He is of Brazilian origin by his mother and Nigerian by his father.

He created « Break your heart ». He started writing this song during his secondary school years. Six years later, he began the production when he was still in high school.

His kind of music is pop and electropop.
