The Ice Magic Festival

The Ice Magic Festival is a festival and an ice sculpture competition that takes place in January.
It's been 20 years since this festival exists. This is an international sculpture competition that lasts 34 hours during the winter, during the period of snow and at night, the sculptures are illuminated.

In 2015, for the first time, you had to pay to attend tothe festival. The price of an adult ticket is $ 10, $ 5 for children and seniors and $ 25 for families of 2 adults and 4 children.

With the Ice Magic ticket, you can make free activities during the two weekends (skiing, sleighing, riding with dogs or with horses, ice skating on the lake and a glass of hot spiced wine).
Before 9:00 am and after 17:30 people can look at the sculptures for free.
You can spend the night in a hotel in Lake Louise, no need to buy a ticket, just book a room. One can see the sculptures until January 26th.

The competition is going on in hotel Fermon Castle on Lake Louise:
Artists are carvings ice blocks of 150kg!
The second week there is a play area for children with ice slides which are called the Little Chippers festival.
