Élisabeth II

Elisabeth II was crowned on June 2, 1953 in Westiminster Abbey. Elizabeth II was born on April 21, 1926 in Mayfair.

Her parents were George VI of the United Kingdom and Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon.Elizabeth II has four children:
Prince Charles is the Prince of Wales, Princess Anne is the Royal Princess, Prince Andrew is the Duke of York and Prince Edward is the Earl of Wessex.

The heir is Prince Charles since 1952. Elizabeth II is the Queen of sixteen states:
Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Jamaica, Barbados, the Bahamas, the Pomegranate islands, Papouasy New Guinea, the Salomon Islands, Tuvalu, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, Antigua-and-Barbados, Belize, Saint-Christopher and of course the United Kingdom.

She is also the chief commander of the army in all her realms.

In 2010, she was ranked forty-first most powerful woman in the world

She is the granddaughter of George V . She married Philip Mountbatten, returning from South Africa. So it is above all a love marriage. She celebrated her Diamond Jubilee in 2012.
