He is best known for playing the role of Thor in the movie Thor (2011) and The Avengers (2012) and for playing the role of Curt Vaughan in the horror film, The Cabin in the Woods (2012). He played the role of Kim Hyde in the Australian soap opera Home and Away (2004-2007).
